Sales Manager

Type of Job:
Part-Time (20-25 hours/week)
Main Areas of Responsibility:
A Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales. Their duties include hiring and training sales staff, relaying information to upper management about sales quotas and generating leads to divide among Sales Representatives. Reports directly to gallery owner.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
- Overseeing local promotions and campaigns
- Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
- Directing and coordinating all sales activities at gallery
- Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Other Information/Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
- Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy
- Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives
- Planning, organization and problem-solving skills
- Advanced time management skills

Sales Associate

Part-Time (20-25 hours/week)
Main Areas of Responsibility:
A Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers throughout the buying process. Their duties include greeting customers when they enter the store, helping customers find specific products or showing them how to use them and ringing up customer purchases on the POS register.
Reports directly to sales manager and/or gallery owner.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
- Welcoming customers into the store
- Staying knowledgeable about our range of products
- Explaining to customers the best products for their needs
- Recommending related products to increase customers’ options and enrich the shopping experience
- Accepting and processing orders, operate the POS register and resolve returns issues
- Promoting special sales, offers and awareness of store loyalty program
Other Information/Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- In-depth knowledge of Native art/fashion
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Working knowledge of POS payment systems
- Valid Class-A driver’s license
